Not really much you need to do other than making sure adb is in your path, echo those three lines into ~/.android/adb_usb.ini, run adb kill-server, then adb devices and approve your computer to be allowed to communicate with your Mi2 over debug (pops up automatically).
adb devices should provide some output similar to this:
List of devices attached
e3d16690 device

The IDs I mentioned I believe is for 2 variations of the regular Mi2 and the last is Mi2S, but I don't have an S so I can not confirm this.

I eat meat almost every meal.

What I find a lot of people don't realise is that if people didn't eat a certain animal then it would be worthless to the farmers. If they're not going to be able to make money off it then they wouldn't bother breeding them. That would cause the population of, said animal, to drop until they're hardly in existence.

Just a few flaws in your statement there...

1. If you want to do animal abuse awareness, why not use a sticker saying " abusing animals" instead? would greatly improve the message on that matter.
2. Most modern slaughterhouses don't shackle animals, and use methods of slaughtering that are as close to pain free as possible (most common manual way for pigs are for example a "gun" that shoots a nail through the scull).
3. Why does that justify vandalism? If you want to get your point across the board, and not sound like a hippie, you shouldn't put a sticker or any other kind of illeagal methods of doing so, there a many much more effective ways of getting your point across, the most used one is very popular, it's called a demonstration.

and to your pretty rethorical question, I would most likely eat it yes, to me a cow, pig or a chicken is food to me, unless of course I kept it as a pet, then I might have second thoughts about it ;)

This is a direct message. The real message is STOP ANIMAL ABUSE because if you eat animals you are contributing to animal abuse - ever seen an animal shackled and slaughtered? Go to a slaughterhouse and then tell me you ate the cow, pig or chicken you killed.

I agree with you, Thor. There is so many more and better ways to protest than putting a sticker on a traffic sign. It's okay they don't eat it, and if we have someone visiting us that don't eat meat, we'll make vegetarian food and eat it too.

But there are so many better ways to protest. I know that it cost the environment, but that doesn't give you permissions to put a sticker on a traffic sign.

Eating animals is detrimental to the environment - raising animals is far less efficient than raising vegetables. We all pay the price for that whether or not we actually eat the animals. Beef, in particular, relies on corn which requires a great deal of water and fertilizer. Furthermore, it creates huge amounts of waste which ends up back in our waterways. Sometimes it poisons people's wells. Animal waste and fertilizer run off has turned the Mississippi into a kind of open sewer and created a large dead zone in the Gulf of Mexico.

Eating animals is not simply a matter of choice, it is a choice with real consequences.

First, I respect their opinion.
Second, I do not respect the way they protest ;) Putting a sticker on a sign, though subtile, is vandalism.
Vandalism is not a valid way of protesting, if you want to protest you can do it in at least a million other, better ways and putting stickers on traffic signs.
